Two, new important goals regarding Expo 2015, scheduled to be hosted by Città di Milano from 1 May to 31 October 2015, were reached yesterday.

Yesterday morning, China formalized its presence at the Milan 2015 Expo  with the signing of the participation contract in Italy’s capital Rome. The People’s Republic of China will be present at the event with a pavilion extending over a surface area of 4,590 sq.m., the second largest after the German site. The contract was signed  by Wang Jinzhen, Commissioner General of the Chinese Pavilion, and Giuseppe Sala, Managing Director of  Expo 2015 S.p.A, who, over the next few day, will present "Progetto Cina", designed to strengthen business relationships between the two countries and attract Chinese visitors. The aim of the initiative is to bring one million Chinese to Italy for the Expo event.

Conversely, in the afternoon, the creative concept of Padiglione Italia, developed by  Marco Balich, President of Filmmaster Events, responsible for organizing numerous important events and Olympic ceremonies, was presented at Milan’s Triennale.

The Italian pavilion, which will extend along the entire axis of the Cardo, will interpret the theme of Expo 2015 “Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life”. In fact, according to a statement made by Diana Bracco, Commissioner General of Padiglione Italia, “it will serve as a truly iconic place, embracing all the magic of a trip in discovery of Italy with all of the marvels that it has to offer.”

“The Pavilion will enable visitors from all over the world to experience, first hand, the fruits of Italy’s creativity, tradition, innovation, culture and traditions. During the Shanghai Expo, our country already gave proof of its prowess, obtaining an enormous success”, added Giuseppe Sala, Managing Director of Expo 2015.
