Fiera Milano, one of the leading trade fair and congress operators in Italy, and Swiss group Nussli, a leading global supplier of temporary constructions for events, trade fairs and exhibitions, have signed an important agreement for the joint supply of professional services to the countries and companies participating in the Universal Exposition scheduled to be held in Milan from 1 May to 31 October 2015.
The two companies, both accredited operators on an international level, are able to formulate offers to supply the entire range of services connected to Expo 2015. These include the design, planning, construction and maintenance of exhibition facilities, in addition to facility management, human resources management, food & beverage, marketing and communications for events. Furthermore, they are also capable of formulating offers in the form of either a consortium or a partnership. Nussli was selected to design the German pavilion, the biggest international pavilion.
“The agreement with Nussli”, says Enrico Pazzali, CEO of Fiera Milano, “marks another important step forward on the pathway to the Expo. Faced with a project as exciting – and challenging – as this, right from the outset Fiera Milano wondered how it could most effectively contribute to its success. Of course, in the first place by making our competencies and professionalism available. But also through alliances with well-established global operators that have been operating in the world of major events for many years.”
The agreement between Fiera Milano and Nussli means that the countries and companies participating in Expo 2015 will not only be able to enjoy the expertise and the synergies created between two of the most accredited operators on a global level, but also avail themselves of their know-how and deep-rooted knowledge of Northern Italy.
