A totally rennovated space, but also a piece of Lombard archictectural and environmental historic heritage.
The Cascina Triulza, the ancient rural construction within the Exhibition Site, is actually in a restoration phase and will open in grand style in occasion of Expo. The Complex of Cascina Triulza, extended over an area of 7,900 metres squared, is managed, in collaboration with Expo Milano 2015, by the Triulza Foundation, a group of various organisations of national and international importance, selected by a call for tenders.
In the spaces of the Cascina the exhibition pavillion of the Civil Society will have its headquarters: a unique space reserved to the third sector, but also a place in which companies, public institutions and international organisations will be able to give visibility and value to their own best practices in collaboration with the organisations of the civil society. Inside the building all services will be present such as catering and hospitality open to all visitors of Expo and a rich variety of spaces: apart from the exhibiton area and a market area, there will also be an Events area, which includes an auditorium of 200 seated places, an area dedicated to workshops and laboratories and an open space of about 1,700 metres squared, to be used for various activities and artistic and cultural events.
