The countdown has started to the official opening of Expo Milano 2015, the great event that will liven Italy from the 1st May to the 31st October. The gates will open on Friday, at 10 sharp, for what is meant to be a highly amotional day. The pavilions will all be open, assured the Commissioner Giuseppe Sala. The site extends on over a million metres squared and hosts over 145 Countries - in Milan each with their pavilion or within the themed clusters - and involved organisations, apart from the participation of companies and civil society organisations.
With the theme of "Feed the Planet, Energy for Life" the Italian Universal Exhibition is the largest event ever organised on nutrition and food. During the opening date the inaugurations of the various pavilions will take place and the presence of Heads of Sate and Institutional representatives are expected.
So as not to get lost in the numerous themed areas, distributed on the sides of the Centre of the Decuman, the official website expo2015.org has published an interactive map with all the useful information on the exhibition site, available even in app version. From its access points to the placement of the various pavilions, from the location by events to the shuttle schedules to move within the site, everything is clearly explained. An added service for the twenty million visitors expected during the semestre.
