Full success: this how we can define the worldwide premier for the international press of the show Alla Vita!, the latest, lavish set-up of the Cirque du Soleil created specifically for Expo Milano 2015. The show is a fairytale with an Italian background narrated according to the imaginary and visionary style which belongs to the Cirque, and at the same time an act of love towards Italy.
Alla Vita! narrates about the characteristics of Italy - the colours, the towns, the beauties - inspired by the theme of Expo, Feed the Planet, Energy for life, and from the first to the last act it is an ode to life. "An extraordinary show, much more beautiful than what I expected", commented the commissioner of Expo, Giuseppe Sala, who declared himself enthusiastic about both the representation, as well as the welcome by the public. Alla Vita! is the most important production of the Expo 2015 shows schedule.
The show, which has cost 6 million Euros, is expected to repeat 84 times: up till the end of August it will be on show at the Open Theatre within the exhibition site. The show is truly grand: there are 48 international artists, 23 of which are Italian, trapezists, mimes, acrobats and jugglers. Also, this production - realised for Expo - will not be repeated elsewhere: to admire such marvel, it will be obligatory to come to Milan
