The millions of visitors expected at Expo, foreign and Italian, can remain always connected to the internet. Not only: they can also recharge their devices, freely, in various points in the city. This new opportunity is offered by the online insurance QUIXA in collaboration with ExpoInCittà.
Thanks to the QUIXA City Stations project, in fact, in the central areas of the city are active relax areas where it is possible to have a break, recharge one's mobile devices and surf the web thanks to a wi-fi service, even to keep abreast of the rich calendar of events that Milan offers thanks to the ExpoInCittà circuit. Piazza Duomo, Arco della Pace and via Monte Grappa, angle with Piazza XXV Aprile are the first three locations that host this service, to which is to be added in the coming weeks a new station at Largo Greppi, just a few steps away from the Expo Gate. In this way, during the Expo semestre visitors can, for example, download the ExpoInCittà App or the website Expoincitta.com with the updated calendar of events and initiatives: exhibitions, events, concerts, shows, and the best that Milan offers in the six months of the Universal Exhibition. At the stations there will also be the distribution of the monthly guides with the schedule of events by ExpoInCittà.
The project has been created and curated for QUIXA by psLIVE, an experienced communications agency of the Dentsu-Aegis Network group. "With ExpoInCittà a system of public open service has been created for the first time in Italy, thanks to its presence on the E015 eco-system - said Claudio Artusi, Co-ordinator of ExpoinCittà - creating in this way a concrete example of smart city. In this context the initiative created by QUIXA and give citizens and tourists an important sign of such a system."
