NTV announces a new High-Speed link along the Adriatic coast: Milan-Ancona in just 3 hours

Thanks to an agreement between Nuovo Trasporto Viaggiatori (NTV), the first private high-speed passenger rail company, and the Regione Marche, from next June, the Milan-Ancona link will become operative. Lombardy’s administrative capital will thus be linked to one of the most productive manufacturing regions in the country.

The journey from Milan to Ancona will last just three hours with stopovers in Bologna, Forli, Rimini and Pesaro.

Italo trains will run from Ancona to Bologna along the traditional Adriatic route, subsequently reconnecting with the Emilian hub on the new High-Speed line.

The new service envisages three sets of trains, for a total of six trips a day, along the Adriatic route.
