From 14 to 24 November museums and historic archives owned by Italian companies will open their doors to the public

Guided tours, exhibitions, film festivals, workshops, conventions and debates characterize the 12th edition of  Settimana della Cultura d'Impresa promoted by Confindustria and by Museimpresa, the Italian Association of Business Archives and Museums.

In fact, from 14 to 24 November, numerous museums and historic archives owned by Italian companies will open their doors to the public, organizing ad hoc events and free guided tours which should be booked in advance. The aim of the initiative is to arouse public awareness and promote the cultural heritage of Italian businesses.  Several of these, to mention but a few, include Archivio Storico La Marzocco,  Archivio Storico Enel,  Museo Zambon,  Museo Salvatore Ferragamo, the Branca Collection,  Fondazione Pirelli,  Museo Nazionale della Scienza e della Tecnologia Leonardo da Vinci, Galleria Campari, Museo Kartell and MUMAC – Museum of Coffee-Making Machines.

A slew of cities are involved in the initiative (Milan, Genoa, Turin, Venice, Verona, Florence, Rome, Naples, Bergamo, Biella and Pontedera), for a total of 53 associated companies, including this year’s three new entries: Poli Museo della Grappa, the Fondazione Fila Museum and  Museo Cifa.

A detailed programme of the event is available on www.museimpresa.com.
