
Less than one year after its launch, the Welcome2Venice Convention Bureau has revamped its graphics and the contents of its website which is now online in its new guise.
While retaining its institutional layout, the new version, featuring eye-catching graphics and loads of multimedia content, offers a rapid, easy-to-use and comprehensive overview of the congress offer of Venetian destinations.
“A strategic tool designed to provide even more rapid and efficient answers to the requests made by operators in the industry, whether associates or potential clients” was the comment made by Federico Fantini, sales manager of the Welcome2Venice Convention Bureau, about the operation.
Accessible from any platform (computers, smartphones and tablets), the site, in Italian and English, contains information and new services targeted, first and foremost, at operators in the meetings and events industry but also at fans of the lagoon city.
The Welcome2Venice Convention Bureau recently released the results of a survey on the perceived image of the destination entitled “Venezia e Terraferma”, conducted on a significant sample of international MICE operators, above all from the medical-scientific division, in order to store the data in its possesion.
A summarized version of the survey revealed that 65% of the international operators interviewed is interested in organizing their next event in the Veneto region and that the main local areas perceived as destinations having a strong congress identity are, above all, Chioggia, Mestre,Jesolo and the Riviera del Brenta. The details of the study will be presented in full at the third associative convention of the Welcome2Venice Convention Bureau scheduled to be held in early December.
