On 2 February, Rome celebrates the Chinese New Year with an event organized by events agency The Gate Visible Connection

Following last year’s success involving the participation of more than 50,000 people, the capital is once again getting ready to celebrate the Chinese New Year with the arrival of the year of the snake. Celebration of the festivity, also known as Spring Festival, will take place on via dei Fori Imperiali with a rich programme of events and performances involving acrobats, dancers and the masters of martial arts, many of whom will be coming from China for the event.

The festivities will begin on Saturday, 2 February at 7.30pm with a parade that will greet the arrival of the snake and culminate with a spectacular fireworks display.

Promoted by the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Italy under the patronage of Roma Capitale, the 2013  edition of the event will once again be organized by events agency The Gate Visible Connection which will curate various stages of the event, from its creative direction to stage sets, from set design to the advertising campaign, from logistics to media buying activities.
