Hotel Capo d'Africa and Visconti Palace in Rome offer Roman cuisine cookery courses under the guidance of a chef

Hotel Capo d'Africa and Visconti Palace in Rome have teamed up with  Coquis, Ateneo Italiano della Cucina, to offer a taste of Rome’s “La Dolce Vita” with cookery courses followed by a tasting experience under the guidance of a starred chef.

For just EUR 65 per person, added to the cost of their overnight stay, guests at the hotel can book a three hour cookery course, dedicated to regional cuisine,  with cookery school Coquis, followed by a dinner featuring the dishes prepared by them.

Courses are held every Thursday evening at 7.00pm at the Ateneo Italiano della Cucina situated just fifteen minutes from the two hotels. Under the guidance of a professional chef, guests will learn how to prepare a typically Roman hors d’oeuvre, an entrèe,  a main course and a dessert. After which, not only will they have a chance to taste their results, but they will also obtain a certificate testifying to their prowess at the end of the evening.

A refined boutique hotel located in the vicinity of the Colosseum in the Celio district, Hotel Capo d’Africa has 65 rooms, three meeting rooms and a large roof-top terrace overlooking several of Rome’s most sensational attractions.

Just moments away from the Vatican and Castel Sant’Angelo, the Visconti Palace Hotel features 242 rooms, including the new Premier rooms and the 7th Heaven suites on the top floor; eight multi-purpose rooms capable of accommodating up to 150 people and alternative spaces, including a terrace and a patio, for high-profile events.
