Rome Fiumicino Airport: 30 minutes of free Wi-Fi access a day for passengers

As from Monday 8 April, in keeping with European and international standards, the international airport of Roma Fiumicino “Leonardo da Vinci” will offer all those in transit through the hub 30 minutes free Wi-Fi connectivity.

Passengers can access broadband on their mobile, laptop or tablet or check their e-mails for 30 minutes while waiting at the airport.

The service is offered in collaboration with two providers, Linkem and Boingo, leaders respectively of the national and international markets. To gain access, users need only select the  Wi-Fi network of one of the two partners and launch the browser in order to be redirected automatically to the selected operator login page: Linkem requires you to enter your cell phone number to receive a username and password via sms while Boingo, on the contrary, will ask you to provide your credit card details in order to create an account free-of-charge.
