Not only a charme facility collection, but also the quintessence of the best Italian cuisine. Relais & Châteaux, the association that collects prestigious abodes, can boast this year a staggering 22 Italian restaurants awarded with the Michelin stars. Therefore, the top of gastronomic excellence of Italy.

A new entry that sticks out is the Aroma of Palazzo Manfredi in Rome. The restaurant and its very talented chef Giuseppe di Iorio have been assigned the honour for the first time of the much aspired acknowledgement in the catering world. Another prestigious entry in the constellated sky of the Association is the restaurant Terra of the Hotel Auener Hof at Sarentino, in Trentino Alto Adige, which Relais Châteaux has just welcomed among its new Associates. The 1 Michelin Star restaurant, situated at 1,622 metres of altitude, is the perfect setting to taste the modern and sophisticated cuising of the Chef Heinrich Schneider whilst losing one's view over the fantastic Dolomites.

In the Relais & Châteaux collection are also three three Michelin stars: thesea re the restaurant Da Vittorio of Brusaporto, brought to life by the culinary art and the contagious energy of the Cerea brothers, the gastronomic temple of Annie Féolde, Riccardo Monco and Italo Bassi of the Enoteca Pinchiorri of Firenze and Dal Pescatore, the restaurant of the Santini Family of Canneto sull'Oglio (Mantua).
