The promotion of events cannot ignore social networks, Facebook first of all. Statistics are clear: about 400 million users use this channel monthly to communicate their events, with the opportunity of controlling its reception. This is precisely why Facebook has announced two new functions which are even more advanced, Events Response Ads and Event Insights. The new tools will be available in the coming weeks.

With the Event Response Ads tool, the owners of a Facebook page can promote an event directly  within their News Feed, as well as on their desktop as well as on mobile. Until today these announcements were visible only on the desktop, on the right hand side column. Once an event is created, organises can visualise, through the tool Event Insights, an infinity of useful information on the reception of the event: from the number of people that have viewed it on Facebook, to the number of users that has visualised it, to the number of participants added. In this way, it will be possible to adjust the aim of each event to promote in the most efficient way on the social media.
