
An excellency prize for the best Italian catering company, participating in a competition inspired by business lunch. Here is how the fifth edition of King of Catering Bisol, the only prize that rewards the best companies in catering and banqueting, has been carried out.
Held in Milan in the backdrop of the food and drink fair Identità Golose, the 2015 event had record-breaking enrollments. Among these "a short list" of 27 catering companies with 78 candidate events have been selected, among which to assign the awards. The judging panel, composed of critics, journalists, communications personalities and experts from the sector, have crowned four companies with as many prizes: King of Catering Platinum: Valentino Catering (Syracuse); King of Catering Gold: Sire Ricevimenti D'Autore (Naples); King of Catering Silver: Summertrade Services Ristorazione e Ricevimento (Rimini); King of Catering Bronze: Caffe Scala Baquetting (Milan).
The theme for the competition of King of Catering 2015 was "Cum grano salis" - a healthy and intelligent business lunch: the catering companies challenged each other in the preparation of an energentic, tasty but light business lunch. Each of the four finalists presented a menù made of starter, first course, main course and dessert, all entries were prepared with originality and respecting the theme of the challenge and the budget expense for raw materials, defined as 18 Euros per person, chosen freely among Selecta products and among Bisol wines.
