Convention Bureau Italia is well at work. CBI just introduced its activity plan for 2018 along with some news about promo-commercial events and company communication. The first piece of news is about the new corporate identity of CBI.

First thing to change is the brand of the Convention Bureau that, while keeping its Italian features known around the world, redefines a new dimensional relationship between CBI and Italy, to focus on the added value that being Convention Bureau brings. Also Italy At Hand, CBI’s communication campaign, will go on in 2018 utilizing new tools like targeted newsletters with a dedicated address for promotional communication of CBI’s partners and the new corporate web.

Other than the organization and participation to several workshops and national and international exhibitions, with many commercial agreements, another great news is the announcement of an event b2b in Italy in October 2018, involving high profile foreign buyers. The name has already been decided and it will be the same of the communication campaign: Italy at Hand.

“Workshops organized abroad have been very successful” says Tobia Salvadori, Bureau Manager “but our partners pushed us to bring clients here and Italy At Hand is the answer. Not your typical b2b workshop, but an actual event repeating throughout the years, where buyers and suppliers will meet to see first hand the ability of Italy to host events”. Destinations and CBI’s partner locations received the event’s RFP and may apply by the end of October.
