A visit to the Fortuny fabric factory overlooking the Giudecca canal; a laboratory of artisanal masks at Tragicomica owned by Master “Mascherer” Gualtiero Dall’Osto or a two-hour course on how to become a gondolier: these are just some of the original ideas proposed for incentive groups or team building activities by Molino Stucky Hilton Venice, the stylish, elegant hotel nestling on the island of Giudecca in the place that formerly housed an old mill.
The feather-in-the-cap of the international hotel chain, Molino Stucky Hilton Venice boasts one of the largest congress centres on the lagoon. In fact, the hotel’s congress centre extends over a surface area of 2,600 sq.m.: there are 14 congress halls, and the Venetian Ballroom, the main hall which can be divided into five soundproofed rooms, each with their own entrance, is capable of hosting up to 1,000 delegates. Furthermore, in the 700 sq.m. Foyer, capable of holding up to 750 guests and lying next to the Ballroom, organizers can mount exhibitions or use the space for coffee breaks and cocktails.
Though equipped with all mod-cons, its 380 rooms still retain a number of original features including exposed timbers, and are embellished by typical Venetian ornamentation such as Murano candelabra, Fortuny lamps and Rubelli fabrics. Additionally, the Molino Stucky Hilton Venice has six restaurants and bars, including the Skyline Rooftop Bar, the highest spot in the city, plus a 600 sq.m. Wellness & Fitness Centre.
