The Italia comes to you project, sponsored by ENIT-Italian National Agency for Tourism to promote Italy and all aspects of Italian lifestyle including culture, art, tourism and all forms of “Made-in-Italy” production in emerging countries (BRIC), will debut in India in November.
After Brazil, China and Russia, the next stop-off will be the Indian sub-continent. The event will open in Mumbai at the Nehru Centre (16 - 20 November), later moving on to Delhi’s International Expocentre of Noida (5 - 9 December), finally ending up in Bangalore at Jay Mahal – Palace Ground (17 - 21 December).
As in other countries, Enit will organize an exhibition/event with collateral initiatives including conventions and presentations featuring the best that Italy has to offer in terms of tourism and productive output. Other focal points will include b2b meetings.
One of the main highlights of the event in India will be an exhibition entitled L’Italia vista dagli artisti stranieri (Italy as seen by foreign artists), a display of works by Indian artists, created following their stay in Italy during which time they were able to visit and appreciate our country’s multi-faceted heritage.
A pavilion housing a display area, a multi-functional space, a media area and a business lounge will be set up in the places chosen for the initiative.
