The Complesso Monumentale Santo Spirito in Sassia offers various majestic spaces, all unique in their kind. The two main rooms, Lancisi and Baglivi, both going back to 1400 and with renaissance fresco’s, make together the so called Corsia Sistina, the antique hospital hallway with a surface of almost 1.500 square meters, and are able to host just more than 1.000 guests. For meetings or private encounters there are smaller rooms available like La Spezeria, where in the past medicines were prepared for the hospital and which still contains a collection of pharmaceutical vases, or the l’Accademia Lancisiana inside the even so called library. The Chiostro del Commendatore and the Chiostro dei Frati with their marvelous boxes decorated with fresco’s, offer also wide spaces in the open air, that can be equipped with tent structures for gala dinners or receptions.
