The Parco dei Principi in Sorrento is in the top five of best Italian design hotels according to Condè Nast Traveller

An important acknowledgement  has been given to the Parco dei Principi in Sorrento, having been classified within the five best Italian design hotels in the ranking Top Italy 2012, compiled by the magazine Condè Nast Traveller.
Designed by the architect Giò Ponti from Milan, the Parco dei Principi distinguishes itself for its particular and original design, celebrating its 50 years this year, the elegance of the furniture and the excellent services offered.
The main theme of the hotel is the alternated white-blu colors that recall the sea and the sky above Sorrento and which is the theme that unifies  all different rooms in every singular detail, like for instance the hundred different floors in all of the hundred rooms.
Overlooking the sea and embedded in the green colors of the botanical park of 27.000 square meters and the crystal blue of the magnificent Sorrentina coast, the Parco dei Principi offers 100 rooms and suites, all different from another; a congress center consisting of seven meeting rooms of which the main one can contain up to 350 guests; a wellness center with personalized aesthetic treatments; a restaurant with a terrace overlooking the sea; a private beach and an outside pool with seawater.
The hotel, constructed in 1962, celebrating its 50 years of existence and belonging to the Royal Group Hotels & Resorts, ahs been hosting from June this year inside the hotel a permanent exhibition dedicated to Giò Ponti with designs, photographs, boards and original sketches of this well known architect.
