Filmmaster MEA, the Middle East and African branch of the Italian Filmmaster Group, and Rovigo-based company, Parente Fireworks, earned a place in the Guinness Book of Records on 10 November, in Kuwait by laying the biggest fireworks display of all time to mark the 50th anniversary of the constitution of the Arab Emirates.
This was the largest fireworks display in the world with 77,282 fireworks launched along five kilometres of seafront, 251 floating pontoons, more than 300 technicians and thousand of tons of material, cargo ships, craft and containers arriving from all over the world. Two million spectators watched the spectacular, one-hour show, divided into five stages tracing the history of the Arab state.
